ZP1160 The Cornell Communications A-4204 is a 4-Zone Master Audio Annunciator Panel designed as the central control console for the Cornell 4200 Series Area of Rescue Assistance system. It manages incoming emergency calls from up to four individual remote sub-stations, providing fire safety personnel and facility managers with a localized communication hub to coordinate building evacuations. Specifications & Key Design Features Features four distinct diagnostic sectors on the right side of the faceplate. Each zone is equipped with tricolor LED indicators (typically green, red, and yellow) to convey call status, system acknowledgement, and line faults. Houses an internal speaker and microphone array behind a dedicated voice grille on the left side. It features dedicated tactile push-action switches directly below the grille for manual "Master Talk" and "Listen" audio line control. Continuously polls connected wiring routes. A specialized internal "fault" lamp and audible pulse-tone notify operators immediately if an outdoor or indoor remote line has been severed, grounded, or shorted. Contained within a heavy-duty, industrial-grade 10" x 11" x 4" surface-mountable or flush-mountable metal backbox finished with an anodized faceplate.
